I've been wanting to read this book for a while, but I felt odd about it. I love a book that makes me laugh out loud. This one did, over and over again. That's the premise of Girls in White Dresses, about a group of college girlfriends branching out on their own journey to career success and love. When I was younger, I thought grown ups had their shit together. I planned my future out as if life was like a math equation. I LOVED Commencement though…also own that one (another habit I have to stop since I live in a shoebox in Manhattan). Girls in White Dresses and The Dinner. I bought Girls in White Dresses but haven't read it yet, it's also definitely next on my list! So first of course I have to begin with apologies for being so lax in updating.. Isabella, Lauren, and Mary are the central characters. I'm not the girl that this book was written for. I thought that I too would have my shit together as a grown up.
